the Arch-Mage’s Quarters in the college of winterhold is packed full of alchemical goodies such as nirnroot, giants toe, a Frost Atronach Staff, glowing mushrooms, various poisons, lavender, falmer ears, gold, giant lycian, hanging moss and many more bits and bobs for you to collect. while Savos Aren is arch -mage the ingredients and object respawn every 2-3 skyrim days

Azura’s Star or Black Star

This reusable soul gem is rewarded for completing The Black Star quest.

Azura’s Star has the ability to trap white souls, or those of non-sentient creatures. These souls can be used for enchanting and for recharging weapons.

The Black Star has the ability to trap either black or white souls, up to the Grand level. It functions similarly to a Black Soul Gem.

Dawnbreaker

This One-Handed sword is rewarded for completing The Break of Dawn quest.

Dawnbreaker sets enemies on fire, and has a chance to make undead explode into blue flames upon death, which damages and causes nearby undead to flee.

Ebony Blade

This Two-Handed sword is rewarded for completing The Whispering Door quest.

The Ebony Blade absorbs 10 points of health from enemies but it can be upgraded by slaying friendly NPCs (such as a person whose favor has been completed).

For every two such characters killed the weapon increases in power, adding 2 to the strength of the absorb health, up to the maximum of 30

Ebony Mail

This piece of unique armor is rewarded for completing Boethiah’s Calling quest.

Ebony Mail is a heavy armor cuirass that is enchanted with the muffle effect and it inflicts 5 poison damage per second to nearby enemies.

Mace of Molag Bal

This mace is rewarded for completing the House of Horrors quest.

The weapon not only drains 25 points of stamina and magicka per hit, it also steals the soul of an enemy if it dies within 3 seconds.

Masque of Clavicus Vile

This unique Heavy Armor helm is rewarded for completing A Daedra’s Best Friend quest.(ownly if you chose to side with the dog and not kill him)

Masque of Clavicus Vile holds the following enchantments:

Prices are 20% better

Speech increased by 10 points

Magicka regenerates 5% faster

Mehrunes’ Razor

This unique dagger is rewarded for completing the Pieces of the Past quest.

Mehrunes’ Razor’s enchantment has a 3% chance to instantly kill any opponent.

Oghma Infinium

The Oghma Infinium is a powerful tome of knowledge that is rewarded for completing the Discerning the Transmundane.

When read, the Oghma Infinum will grant a permanent boost to all skills related to the three major guardian constellations. These are the Warrior, the Mage, and the Thief.

Ring of Namira

This ring is rewarded for completing The Taste of Death quest.

The Ring of Namira grants the user with 50 extra points of Stamina and feeding on corpses grants a bonus to health and stamina regeneration.

Sanguine Rose

This unique staff is rewarded for completing A Night to Remember quest.

Sanguine Rose summons a Dremora to fight for the wielder for 60 seconds.

Savior’s Hide or Ring of Hircine

Either of these items is a potential reward for completing Ill Met By Moonlight quest.

Savior’s Hide is a unique light armor cuirass that may be obtained if Sinding is killed at the conclusion of the quest. It provides the following benefits

Increases Magic Resistance by 15%.

Increases Poison Resistance by 50%.

The Ring of Hircine may be obtained if Sinding is helped during the quest. Its enchantment grants the wearer lots of extra werewolf transformation a day, assuming that the wearer is already a werewolf

Skeleton Key

The Skeleton Key is obtained during the Thieves Guild quest Blindsighted, but must be returned to the Twilight Sepulcher in the following quest.

The key is essentially a decorative unbreakable lockpick. It may be kept permenantly, but at the cost of progressing any further in the Thieves Guild questline.

Skull of Corruption

This unique staff is rewarded for completing Waking Nightmare quest.

The Skull of Corruption deals 20 points damage, but increases to 50 if powered with dreams collected from sleeping people. Casting the staff at them while sleeping will gather 5 dreams for the staff. Casting at an NPC while they’re awake however will be treated as an attack.

The staff has a range of effect on it and also has a unique screen illusion when casting.

Spellbreaker

This unique shield is rewarded for completing The Only Cure quest.

When blocking, it produces a Ward-like effect that protects the user from 50 points of magic damage.

Volendrung

This unique warhammer is rewarded for completing The Cursed Tribe quest in Largashbur.

Volendrung, also known as the Hammer of Might, absorbs 50 points of Stamina per hit.

Wabbajack

This unique staff is rewarded for completing The Mind of Madness.

Wabbajack casts an unpredictable spell which ranges from transforming enemies into other creatures to casting a random Destruction spell to even healing enemies

Map Location: After leaving Helgen and splitting ways with Ralof / Hadvar at the beginning of the game, follow the dirt path until it meets a cobblestone road. Turn left. Follow this road until coming to a sign with directions to Riverwood, Helgen and Falkreath. Take the first left after this sign (traveling SW) then look left while walking down the path. It will be on one of the bandits in the small camp.

A copy of Night Falls on Sentinel (A One-HandedSkill Book) is here. Keep this book as it is a part of the misc quest Bring one Night Falls on Sentinel to Rustleif

Treasure Location: Outside of Riverwood. Cross the river and there will be a hollow fallen down tree trunk. Look inside.

map 2:

Map Location: In a knapsack, in Journeyman’s Nook.

Treasure Location: Valtheim Towers just east of Whiterun. In a chest nestled in some rocks next to the river, just east of the keep.

map 3:

Map Location: found in Riverside Shack. There will usually be a sabre cat or a cave bear inside, feasting on the bones of a fisherman.

(Note: In the shack is a book named “Rislav The Righteous” which levels Light Armor under two other books to the left of the bookshelf.)

Treasure Location: follow the shore line around the north east side of the Solitude Lighthouse, north east of Solitude. The treasure chest is behind a rock on shore. (Note: there are two Nirnroot in the area - one just north of the lighthouse, one just south.)

map 4:

Map Location: Found in Redoran’s Retreat in a chest near the bandit chief. (Note: The 1.2 game update may be causing the treasure to not be present for some players even with the treasure map. The 1.3.7.0 update fixes this regression.)

Treasure Location: It leads to a treasure located behind Pelagia Farm south and slightly west of Whiterun. There is a random spawn dragon that may appear near the place when heading up the small mountain. It may or may not land. Continue past the site where the dragon attacked and go up the slope. The chest is near some vegetation up the slope.

map 5:

Map Location: In an end table in the bedroom at Angi’s Camp.

Treasure Location: Near the base of Bard’s Leap Summit. After plummeting from the large waterfall, follow the leftmost aqueduct (taking the path down is suggested) all the way down. The chest can be found at the very base where the fall meets the lake.

The chest is under water by a large rock, but visible.

map 6:

Map Location: An easier way to find the dead female Wood Elf is to head NNW from Volunruud up hill toward the top of the mountain (towards the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon) until encountering a blood trail. Follow the blood trail to the left into a rock outcropping to find her. A leveled bow is along the trail. At the other end of the blood trail lies a dead male Wood Elf; suggesting an altercation that occurred over the map. NOTE: If more or less heading up hill directly from Volunruud with W and N visible on the compass, this map can be found easily.

Treasure Location: Korvanjund; the chest is located on top of the archway by the tree.

map 7:

Map Location: In a locked chest in Traitor’s Post.

Treasure Location: Inside the walls and to the right in Gallows Rock, which is a Silver Hand fort located southwest of Windhelm and directly north of Fort Amol.

map 8:

Map Location: The map is found on the body of a Hunter killed by some Horkers just southeast of Bleakcoast Cave between the Wreck of The Pride of Tel Vos and the Wreck of The Winter War.

Treasure Location: Dragon Bridge farm. First X is located against a tree on the opposite side of the bridge as the mill. Second X is located underwater beneath the bridge.

map 9:

Map Location: Found on the body of Lucky Lorenz in Lucky Lorenz’s Shack, next to Abandoned Prison.

Treasure Location: Hidden behind the cataract of the waterfall south of Riften. It’s on the far side of the mountain that’s due south of Riften. Follow the path around the mountain till you get to a bridge. The left bank of the stream leads up to a bandit hold, Broken Helm Hollow, and also to a point where you can cross behind the falls.

map 10:

Map Location: found in Stony Creek Cave, on a bandit at the Alchemy Lab.

Treasure Location: from The Lady Stone face the peninsula to the east of Ilinalta’s Deep, at the bottom of the lake where the X is. Use the Local Map to pinpoint your location since the water is very murky and the chest will be difficult to see until you’re right on top of it.

This recipe makes 6 Sweet Rolls.

What you will need: Large deep muffin tray, greaseproof paper/baking parchment, sieve, 2 bowls, wooden spoon, a pot and a knife.

For the Sweet Rolls:

180g / 1 Cup Butter (Room Temperature)

175g / ¾ Cup White Caster Sugar

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup

2 Eggs (Room Temperature)

250g / 2 Cups Self-Raising Flour

2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

125ml / ½ Cup Milk

For the Frosting:

200g / 1 Cup Cream Cheese

55g / ¼ Cup Butter

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

125g / 1 Cup Icing/Confectioners Sugar

For the Cinnamon Syrup:

2 Tablespoons Butter

2 Tablespoons White Caster Sugar

2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

Preparing the Sweet Rolls:

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. To prepare the muffin tray, cut small squares of greaseproof paper and stuff them into each muffin well – create folds and crinkles and then smooth them out to help create a rustic, uneven finish to the cakes.
In a large bowl cream the butter, sugar, vanilla extract and maple syrup together until pale and creamy. Add the eggs one and a time and mix well.
Sift in the self-raising flour and cinnamon then add the milk and stir gently until a smooth batter forms.
Fill the prepared muffin tray with the batter, filling each well nearly to the top and place in the pre-heated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown (a skewer inserted should come out clean when cooked thoroughly). Set aside and allow to cool completely while you prepare the syrup and frosting.

Making the Frosting:

Add the cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix gently until combined.
Slowly sift in the icing/confectioners sugar and stir gently. Allow to chill in the fridge before using.

Making the Cinnamon Syrup:

In a pan on a medium-high heat melt the butter, sugar and cinnamon together until the sugar has dissolved. Set aside for use later.

Making the Sweet Rolls:

Unwrap the cakes from the paper and careful slice the puffy top off the cake. Turn the cake upside down so that the cut top is now the bottom.
Cut a small hole in the top of the cake that’s about 1cm deep and 1cm across. Pour a little of the cinnamon syrup into the hole.
Drizzle the frosting over the top of the cake and serve.

To the east of Whiterun, right below Bonestrewn Crest lies the holy ground of Eldergleam Sanctuary. Eldergleam Sanctuary is the last stop on the quest The Blessings of Nature. You can start the quest in Whiterun by talking to Danica Pure-Spring, who says the only way to revive the Gildergreen tree in Whiterun is to get sap from the Eldergleam by stabbing it with a cursed dagger

Hold a torch up to an object before you start lockpicking, it makes it easier. It’s even mentioned in one of the in-game books, something along the lines of heat up a lock before picking it. fire spells also have the same effect.

Invariably you get to a point when you’re climbing a mountain off set paths where you can’t progress forward any longer because the grade is too steep. If you hit that point, simply face backwards and start jumping. Just point your butt toward the peak and continually hit the jump button. It also helps to move slightly from side-to-side as you try this. You can often snag a rock along the way and shimmy up a mountain without having to use a set path. Facing forward at a 45-degree angle can sometimes help as well.
